The 100% Iberico Bellota Shoulders come from pure Iberian pigs, fed on acorns and herbs in our meadows in Extremadura and cured following the recipes of our grandparents since 1930 based on the popular Extremaduran tradition of making Iberian products, always 100% natural.

A shoulder is distinguished, Pure acorn-fed for having a pale golden exterior fat color due to a slow and natural maturation in the cellar, its lean meat is intense red with light infiltrations of fat that go from a more intense white to one more broken, giving it a unique smoothness to the touch and on the palate. If we press with our thumb and slide it over it without excessive pressure, we will observe that it has sunk in relatively easily and has left a deep mark that will later recover its shape, this is so because it is a pure acorn-fed shoulder. Its aroma is intense and balanced due to a long maturation process. As it contains a greater amount of acorns, it requires a longer curing period but at the same time its maturation is more exquisite and sweeter on the palate, which together with its lower salt level provides a sensation of juiciness and an explosion of flavor in slow chewing. Free of any supply of antibiotics or other chemical products until arrival at your table. From mothers and fathers registered in the genealogical book of the pure Iberian breed variety "retinto Extremadura", the only body that certifies the purity of the breed.
